  1.   I think it is important to my future to learn about hunger and to find out more about what is going in the world because I might be able to make a change. - Erika

  7. Participating in the rice raiser campaign made me aware of people in other countries that struggle with hunger.  I think it made me realize that we are so fortunate to have 3 meals a day and clean water, and some people don’t.

  13. I want to have a positive impact on the lives of others and the only way I can do that is by being aware of the struggles of the less fortunate. 
  14.   As school it is one of the most important events that we do here.  To raise awareness about hunger both in our community and abroad is a vital lesson for life.   32. What impacted me the most was knowing that little children went to bed hungry every night and most even died,.  So I thought it was a very good idea to help the people that lived like that every day.   Unknown

  34. Yes this fact made the campaign more exciting because it really shows that you can accomplish anything you want and it feels great to know that I contributed to this wonderful campaign.

  38.  This made me very excited.  Some people don’t have a lot of money you can give and the governments matches made it so if you give a little it will make a lot.  Even the smallest donations will make a difference.

  41.  The R.R. campaign really did make me aware of all the hunger in the world.  Some of my thoughts were just wanting to be able to help and how lucky I am to come home to a full fridge and shelter.
  42. Yes I do think it is important because who know maybe teaching me now could lead me to teaching it sometime in the future. I feel this is great because if every generation learns about this then we will have more people aware of hunger and possibly more people trying to make a change in the world.  Tiera C.

  55.  It is important to learn about hunger because I am sure that if the places were reversed and I was the one starving I’d want the rest of the world to know and to help.
