Ruthanne Wartman
Ruthanne has a background in nursing and healthcare administration. She and her husband, Paul, have been involved in full-time ministry since 1976 and have two adult sons and a daughter-in-law. In addition to her involvement with HRI, Ruthanne volunteers at the Hungry For Life International office in Chilliwack where she also serves on the board.
Prior to getting married, Ruthanne spent seven months in Malawi, Africa working with her aunt in a remote nursing station. Since 2004, she has participated in several short term missions trips, to Ghana and to the Ukraine. These experiences reawakened her desire to help meet the needs of those in our world who are suffering. Ruthanne sees her involvement in the work of Hunger Response International as an exciting opportunity to respond both locally and globally.
