Joanne Field
Joanne is the co-business owner of a land development and consulting services company in the Fraser Valley. She and her husband Ray have lived in Abbotsford for the past 15 years and have two young adult children. Joanne has worked with and volunteered for a wide variety of organizations and is dedicated to making her community a better place to live. For the past nine years, Joanne has served as a School Trustee in Abbotsford and currently she is the Chair of the Abbotsford School Board. In addition, her involvements include Abbotsford Restorative Justice Association; Abbotsford Symphony Orchestra Society; Abbotsford Parks and Recreation; Crime and Drug Prevention Committee; and the Rotary Club of Abbotsford.
Joanne’s involvement with Hunger Response International comes from a strong commitment and dedication to the health and well being of young people both in our home communities and globally. Joanne believes that: “if each and everyone of us does our part, we truly will be able to help make poverty history and at the very least provide basic nutritious food and clean water to al the children of the world.”
